CSLA (Composite Scalable Logical Architecture)
CSLA provides a business persistence framework that makes sense. If you have not had the opportunity to research this framework, I highly recommend it.

CSLA provides a serializable layer that can be installed tall (web server -> object server -> database server) for security reasons or wide (server farm) for performance. The code within the business layer does not have to be altered to take advantage of either scenario. And you can change the implementation without having to change code.

The next major benefit of CSLA it it's ability to handle N-Level undo. The provides a feature that most applications fail to plan for.

And now, CSLA takes advantage of the .NET Framework 3.0. We can now easily take advantage of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF) and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
